Minutes of a Regular Council Meeting held on Monday,
November 17, 2014
in Council Chambers City Hall commencing at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Bob Maloney, Councillors Les Arnelien, Larry Pearen, and Chris Wyatt
Regrets: Councillors Randy Goulden, Ross Fisher and James Wilson

A quorum being present Mayor Maloney in the chair called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

That the Regular Council Meeting Agenda and Committee of the Whole Council Meeting Agenda be approved as presented.

Environmental Committee Meeting Minutes – August 21, 2014
That the Environmental Committee Meeting Minutes of August 21, 2014 be received and filed as presented.
INTRODUCTION OF BYLAWS
Planner – Discretionary Use DU09-2014 – Automotive Maintenance in C-1 Zone – 25 Myrtle Avenue
A report dated November 8, 2014 from the Planner regarding proposed Discretionary Use Application DU09-2014 was circulated for the consideration of Council. Michael Eger, Planner was present in Council Chambers to speak to this report.
That Administration be authorized to proceed with Public Notification for Discretionary Use application DU09-2014, which proposes an Automotive Maintenance use at 25 Myrtle Avenue, legally described as Lot 17, Block 2,Plan 33277, and that the application be brought back to Council for its review and decision.
Director of Planning and Engineering – Construction of Water Trunk Main within York Colony – Tender Result
A report dated November 12, 2014 from the Director of Planning and Engineering regarding the tender result for the construction of the water trunk main within York Colony was circulated for the consideration of Council. Gord Shaw, Director of Planning and Engineering was present in Council Chambers to speak to this report.
That Council authorizes Administration to enter into a contract with Ungar Construction for the construction/installation of works that include roadwork, potable water mains and sanitary sewer main in the York Colony subdivision in the amount of $1,232,190.05 (exclusive of GST).

That this Regular Council Meeting adjourn – 5:38 p.m.
