What we do
The City Manager's Office is responsible for the overall administration of the City of Yorkton departments, developing corporate policy, corporate initiatives and providing advice to Council about City organization, communication and operating procedures.
The City Manager directs and manages the daily administration of the City of Yorkton and in this capacity ensures the delivery of high quality services in a timely, responsible and cost effective manner.
The City Manager holds the authority to conduct negotiations on behalf of the City for the purchase, sale or exchange of land under the direction of Council. The City Manager maintains an inventory of all commercial and industrial land and property holdings for sale or lease by the City of Yorkton.
