Aquatic Centre News


There is a new session of swimming lessons starting!! There are lessons on Saturdays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Monday/Wednesdays. Every Red Cross Aqua Quest level is being offered, including AquaTots and AquaAdults. The space is limited, so make sure that you register early. Session begins on March 22, 2003.

Theme Nights are continuing at the Parkland Aquatic Center. The theme for Monday, March 10 will be Boat Safety!! Learn how to be boat safe. This clinic is just in time to learn the basics before summer gets here.

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR: 

4 (four) - Full Time Summer Culture, Recreation and Sport Programmer Positions

The programmers will be responsible for development of the Summer Programs within the City of Yorkton. You will be responsible for planning, marketing, implementing and evaluating the Summer Program for children and youth 6 -11 years of age.

Application Deadline: Monday, March 31, 2003.
