Lifeguard

The Water Park located in the Gallagher Centre is looking for an enthusiastic staff member to complement its newly expanded and renovated facility.

Full-time Instructor/Lifeguard: 
Primary responsibilities involve the delivery of program and supervision of patrons.

Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Instruction of learn to swim and special event programs. 
  • Lifeguard supervision of wave pool facility. 
  • Some shifts will require supervisory duties.
Qualifications
  • Lifesaving Instructor. 
  • National Lifeguard Service, Standard First Aid. 
  • Program delivery experience. 
  • Possess and maintain R.C.M.P. security clearance and a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's license.
SALARY
$938.40 - $1,013.60 bi-weekly.

Job Opportunity
Part-Time Kiosk Cashier Receptionist
 

 
Applications are invited for the position of Part-Time Kiosk Cashier Receptionist 
Leisure Services Department - Gallagher Centre

Reporting directly to the Kiosk Supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Processes general admission, memberships, program registration, Ticket Master, lottery centre, and receives customers entering leisure facility accurately in accordance with City of Yorkton policies and procedures. 
  • Provides program and service information including schedules and program descriptions. 
  • Performs general office functions such as filing, and word processing as required. 
  • Handles telephone and reception duties including: public inquiries and requests, complaint calls, bookings, and general information while maintaining excellent customer service. 
  • Completes other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:
  • One year related cash handling experience in customer service environment. 
  • Knowledge of accepted procedures for handling cash, balancing transactions, and completing revenue collection reports. 
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Possess computer skills. 
  • Must possess good interpersonal communications and public relation skills.
  • Must possess and maintain RCMP security clearance. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Salary: $9.90 per hour

Hours of Work: Shift work, evening and weekend work is involved
