Job Opportunity
Gallagher Centre Maintenance Manager

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE POSITION OF
Gallagher Centre Maintenance Manager

The City of Yorkton, a progressive community of approximately 15,000 people, located in the beautiful Parkland Region, is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for the Gallagher Centre, our newly renovated multi-purpose facility.  Due to its large trading area, Yorkton has many larger city amenities while providing the quality of life of a smaller community.

Reporting to the General Manager the Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of this multi-purpose facility.  This position will oversee all aspects of the plant operation, maintenance systems, capital projects, budget allocations and capital planning.  The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance staffing, ensuring that user requirements have been met, while providing customer satisfaction.  In the absence of the Gallagher Centre General Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be designated the acting Gallagher Centre General Manager and shall perform all duties and responsibilities in this capacity.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Journeyman experience or a related trade and supervisory experience;
  • Experience in facility operations, commercial or industrial building maintenance or construction;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
