Riverside Terrace Subdivision

Riverside-Terrace-Subdivision Conceptual

Public Offering of Sale - Riverside Terrace Subdivision

The City of Yorkton Department of Planning and Engineering is pleased to introduce a new community to the City.  Riverside Terrace will be a unique community of medium to upper-scale single family residential homes combining a central neighbourhood park with passive and active recreational facilities, access to multi-use recreational pathways along both sides of Yorkton Creek, and easy access to shopping, schools and business services.  Yorkton Creek offers a particularly pleasant natural feature that provides a relaxing rest area from the day-to-day pressures of life.

This subdivision is designed to provide opportunities for discerning homebuyers to be part of the environmentally responsible philosophy that will govern the neighbourhood character.  Riverside Terrace will introduce and encourage the use of environmentally friendly products and smart growth ideas.  With the co-operation of lot Purchasers, Riverside Terrace will help set the bar for how neighbourhoods can be shaped in a responsive and respectful way by being the first in Yorkton to have homes designed and constructed to meet energy efficiency standards.  To ensure that property values are protected, each lot purchaser will be required to agree to the Architectural Controls & Design Guidelines that will apply to all development within the Subdivision.  Copies of the Architectural Controls & Design Guidelines are available from the City of Yorkton Planning and Engineering Department.

The plan of subdivision has been submitted to the Province for registrations and lots will be available for sale in July.
