Minor Variances
Minor variance is for an incorrectly positioned building from the approved location. Minor variances are only eligible for up to a 10% variance from a required zoning setback. For more information, please see our Zoning Bylaw.
When can I apply for a minor variance permit?
- After receiving a survey (Real Property Report)
- When a new building or addition is accidentally located outside the required setback
