City of Yorkton moves to electronic bidding system – Biddingo

The City of Yorkton has partnered with to provide businesses with an online eBidding tool that facilitates an open, fair and transparent bidding process.

With this partnership, vendors can now eliminate the necessity of searching for open bids with the City of Yorkton. Once a business completes the online vendor registration, they will be notified when a Tender becomes available that pertains to their business. is a leading Government Contract Portal in Canada since 1993. Various levels of Governmental Organizations utilize the portal to manage their contracting process.

Existing and new suppliers interested in doing business with the City of Yorkton will be able to sign up starting November 29, to access its formal competitive bid opportunities, bid documents, and bid results exclusively through

Training opportunities

The City of Yorkton will be offering training opportunities for vendors: 

  • In-person training opportunities
    • One-hour one-on-one training sessions, December 2 & 3, 2021 at City Hall. Any vendor who would like to sign up for this training call 306-786-1710 by November 30, 2021.

Training will include how to register your business, downloading of documents, and how to place a bid.

Vendors will still be able to submit paper and email copies of their bid during the phase in period, however it is encouraged to register your company and begin submitting your bids through as soon as possible.  

Beginning April 4, 2022 the City will no longer accept paper or email vendor submissions.
