Gallagher Centre
As per the Reopen Saskatchewan Plan, organizers must keep a record of all program attendees. All players, spectators, staff, and volunteers must sign in on arrival with name and phone number and/or email to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary.
The health and safety of patrons and staff at the Gallagher Centre remains a top priority. All user groups and patrons entering the Gallagher Centre are expected to comply with the following protocols. There might be specific protocol for different areas within the facility (Access Communications Water Park, Westland Arena, Flexihall, etc.). Individual patrons, user groups, and rentals found not following these protocols may be asked to leave the facility and risk future access to programs and services.
The Gallagher Centre is committed to providing a clean and safe facility for all to use. This includes but is not limited to:
- Aligning with Provincial guidelines, recommendations, and restrictions for facility operations.
- Enhanced cleaning of common, high-touch surfaces such as entrances/exits, stairway railing, counters, etc.
- Enhanced cleaning of change/dressing rooms between users and activities.
- Enhanced cleaning of public washrooms.
- Promoting physical distancing.
General Protocols
- The maximum number of patrons permitted in any one area is to be followed at all times. This information will be provided when arranging your booking.
- Arrive at the facility no more than 10 minutes before your activity/rental.
- To limit time spent in dressing/change rooms, those attending recreational programming in the Arena, Flexihall, and Water Park are asked to come as dressed as possible for their activity. Dressing room access may be limited or reduced.
- Water fountains are closed. Please bring a plastic or metal water bottle to make use of our bottle filling stations in the Gallagher Centre at this time. Do not share water bottles with other participants.
- Do not share personal equipment with others.
- Leave the facility promptly after your activity/rental. Do not congregate in common areas.
Access Communications Water Park |

The Water Park is aligning with provincial guidelines as well as national sporting body protocols for facility operations. All swimmers visiting the Access Communications Water Park must comply with the following protocol. Swimmers must pre-book for Public Swim, Lane Swims and Aquacize classes to reserve space. Walk up customers will be admitted if space permits.

A copy of this plan must be submitted to Gallagher Centre Administration, and must outline a COVID Compliance Monitor. Kinsmen Arena
As per the Reopen Saskatchewan Plan, organizers must keep a record of all program attendees. All players, spectators, staff, and volunteers must sign in on arrival with name and phone number and/or email to facilitate contact tracing, if necessary.

The Kinsmen Arena is aligning with provincial guidelines as well as national sporting body protocols for facility operations. All user groups operating in the Kinsmen Arena must comply with the following protocol. Groups and participants found not following these protocols may be asked to leave the facility and risk future access to programs and services.

Kinsmen Arena COVID-19 Protocols
Gloria Hayden Community Centre
All user groups are required to have and follow a Covid-19 response plan for their activities and rentals. A copy of this plan must be submitted to Gloria Hayden Community Centre Administration Office to confirm your booking.
The Gloria Hayden Community Centre is committed to providing a clean and safe facility for all to use. This includes but is not limited to:
- Aligning with Provincial guidelines, recommendations, and restrictions for facility operations.
- Enhanced cleaning of common, high touch surfaces such as entrances/exits, stairway railing, counters, etc.
- Enhanced cleaning of change/dressing rooms between users and activities.
- Enhanced cleaning of public washrooms.
- Promoting physical distancing.
General Protocols
- All user groups are responsible for tracing, monitoring, and screening their attendees/ participants upon arrival at the facility. Screening questions can be found online through the Government of Saskatchewan.
- Follow all posted signage and protocols.
- The maximum number of patrons permitted in any one area is to be followed at all times. This information will be provided when arranging your booking.
- Arrive at the facility no more than 10 minutes before your activity/rental.
- To limit time spent in dressing/change rooms, those attending recreational programming are asked to come as dressed as possible for their activity. Locker room capacity will be limited to 2 people at a time.
- Patrons are encouraged to bring full water bottles. Water fountains are not available at this time.
- Do not share personal or borrowed equipment with others.
- Leave the facility promptly after your activity/ rental. Do not congregate in common areas.
- All users will get a 15-minute reminder before the scheduled end time. Please complete your activity, gather equipment and vacate the space during the 15-minute window.
Gymnasium Rentals |
Effective November 27th, 2020, all birthday party and private rentals will be suspended until further notice. Non-profit, youth and community based organizations will still be permitted to have rentals; only if the groups have an updated COVID-19 Compliance Plan. All private rentals are responsible for contact tracing.
