The City of Yorkton includes a $12 Recycling Levy on your bi-monthly residential utility bill. This breaks down to $6 per month per residential household. Of the $6 collected each month, $2 provides funding to Prairie Harvest Employment Program for collection and pre-sorting of the materials and the remaining $4 supports the Saskatchewan Abilities Council/RecyclAbilities for further sorting and processing the recyclable material collected.
