The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Canadian national police service and an agency of the Ministry of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada.

Because the City of Yorkton is a major service centre for Eastern Saskatchewan and Western Manitoba, the RCMP presence in Yorkton is one of the largest in the province. The Yorkton detachment consists of 34 members and is located at 37 Third Avenue North.

RCMP Members are involved in school activities through a School Liaison program, and the City detachment sponsors a Community Cadet Program. The RCMP is also involved with a very active Citizens on Patrol organization within the City.

Parkland Victims Services

Providing support, information, assistance, referrals, victim compensation & victim restitution forms, court accompaniment, case updates, and crisis intervention.

Parkland Victims Services is a police based crisis intervention program funded by Victims Services, Saskatchewan Justice & Attorney General, Victims Fund. We work in partnership with the R.C.M.P. and the community to provide the best possible service to victims during their involvement in the Criminal Justice System. We are one of 18 victim services programs in the province of Saskatchewan.
