2024 Assessment Appeal Process Open

The 2024 Appeal Process is now open to residents and businesses.
Before filing an appeal, we encourage you to contact the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA), to discuss it with an assessor. If you still think there is an error, you can file an appeal with the Board of Revision by visiting our Appeal Process page.
Forms can be completed online, or physical copies of the form are available at City Hall.
The deadline to appeal your assessment is Monday, April 29, 2024.

York Road Reconstruction Phase 4 Road Closures and Detours - Update Monday, March 25, 2024

Phase 4 of the York Road Reconstruction will begin Monday, April 1st, 2024.
Road Closures along York Road will be extended from First Avenue North to Victoria Avenue, with a detour in place on Second Avenue North for local traffic and vehicles accessing business along York Road.

Free Parking in Downtown City Owned Lots

Parking in the downtown City owned parking lots will be free from March 25-29, 2024.
To encourage business activity in the downtown area of Yorkton, City Council voted in favour of offering additional free parking weeks in the downtown City owned parking lots at the November 27, 2023 Council Meeting.
