Yorkton Regional Airport Announces Naming Rights for New Terminal
Yorkton, Saskatchewan – September 11, 2025
Coyotes, like other wildlife, sometimes visit our city.
They are generally shy and avoid humans. We're actively monitoring their activity and have placed informational signs in areas with high coyote activity.
The City of Yorkton is committed to renewing ageing infrastructure with a strategic and cost-effective approach. In 2025, Dalebrooke Drive will undergo a full infrastructure renewal project, focusing on essential upgrades to water, sewer, stormwater, and surface infrastructure.
With over 50 separate arts and culture events organized by more than 35 local artists and arts and culture organization, Yorkton has ranked 4th place across the country in the Towns and Rural Areas category.

Bylaw to address unsafe outdoor living in Yorkton
YORKTON, SK – On September 9, 2024, Yorkton City Council approved a Bylaw amendment to the Fire Prevention Bylaw to address unsafe outdoor living.
You may have noticed our city's tallest sign has gotten a bit easier to read recently. That's right, the Water Tower is currently getting a makeover! We're doing some much-needed paint touch-ups, equipment repairs and replacements, and even upgrading the flight beacon.
March 6, 2024 - The goal of the Airport Terminal Building Replacement project is to replace the existing terminal amenities in a modernized, cost-efficient manner. The existing 2,277 sq ft terminal building is a holdover from the construction of the original war-time airport and is well past its useful life.
