Feedback for Addictions Recovery Service Home – 395 Riverview Road
The City of Yorkton Council is providing an opportunity for members of the public to make statements regarding the proposed Addictions Recovery Service home at 395 Riverview Road. Written and verbal submissions received will form part of the public record considered by Council. The purpose of this process is to provide an opportunity for members of the public to make statements regarding the application and to ensure those statements form part of the public record. Council's consideration of the application is governed by The Planning and Development Act, 2007 and the City of Yorkton Zoning Bylaw No.14/2003. Public submissions will be received and recorded; however, Council's decision must be based on the interpretation of applicable legislative and bylaw requirements.
Planning Services has received a development permit application for this property. Based on the information provided, the proposed use has been reviewed in relation to the definitions and regulations contained within Zoning Bylaw No. 14/2003. Council will receive pre-registered written and verbal submissions regarding this matter at the Regular Council meeting on Monday, August 10, 2026 at the Gallagher Centre Convention Centre.

Written submissions will be received by the Office of the City Clerk for inclusion in the public Council Meeting Package.
Requirements:
- Submissions must include full name, mailing address, and email or phone number (Personal information will be redacted from the public package).
- Submissions may be sent by online form, mailed, or hand delivered.
- Submissions must be received no later than Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
- Submissions must not exceed three pages in length on 8.5 x 11 inch paper
- Any submissions including derogatory or inappropriate content will not be accepted.

Requirements:
- Presenters must pre-register to speak by calling 306-786-1717 or by completing the online form located here: https://forms.yorkton.ca/City-Clerk/RequesttoAppearBeforeCouncilForm
- Presenters will have 2 minutes to make a statement.
- There will be no interactive component.
- Time limits strictly upheld.
Late submissions/ registrations (made after 4:30 p.m. on July 29, 2026) will not be considered.
