Public Notice - Downtown & West Broadway Corridor Redevelopment Plan Replace of Existing Plan

Details:   The existing Redevelopment Plan, adopted in 2005, helped create streetscape improvements, zoning updates, and incentive programs that signaled the City’s commitment to revitalization. Two decades later, new conditions have emerged that call for a focused update.

The new plan is focused on a more concentrated area and will guide land use, zoning, and public realm improvements over the next 10 years. 

The City of Yorkton, in partnership with V3 Companies of Canada and Wallace Insights, has developed the plan in consultation with key stakeholders, including property owners and downtown businesses.

Before adopting the final version, we want to make sure that all residents are aware of the Plan, and that they have an opportunity to provide their comments. 

Public Hearing:    City Council will hear all persons who are present and wish to speak to the proposed applications and all written submissions will be read verbatim, unless the submitter is in attendance to speak on the submission, on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in National Bank Convention Rooms B & C, Gallagher Centre, Yorkton, SK.
