PUBLIC NOTICE

Important update: Application for Addiction Recovery Service home at 395 Riverview Road withdrawn; therefore the feedback session at the August 10 Council Meeting is cancelled.

The City of Yorkton would like to advise of an important update on the status of the application for the proposed Addictions Recovery Service Home on 395 Riverview Road. The City was accepting feedback for the Regular Council Meeting of Monday, August 10, 2026. The City has recently received confirmation that the application for the property as an Addictions Recovery Service Home has been withdrawn. Therefore, the feedback session is cancelled, as there is no application to consider.

The City of Yorkton thanks all those who took time to register their feedback for this matter. All those submitted have been directly contacted. The feedback received during the registration period will still be circulated to City Council for their review, but will not form part of the public Council package.

A report to Council noting the application withdrawal for formal public record, will appear on the August 10, 2026 Council agenda. The public Council meeting package will be published the afternoon of Monday, August 10, 2026.
