Commercial Permits

Fill out our application form for new builds, additions and tenant improvements. Submit your completed application to Building Services. 

Note: Multi-Family Homes (three units or more) are classified as Commercial

A complete Building Permit application includes:

  • Development Permit if required
  • Building Permit application form
  • Site plan
  • Construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • Sealed drawings (for all systems outside scope of Part 9 of the NBC)
  • Building Code Analysis
  • Commitment for Field Review (for all projects under Part 3 of the NBC)

Note:

  • Work can not begin before the permit is issued
  • An Occupancy Permit will not be issued until the final inspection is complete
  • All trades working on site require a Business Licence
