The City of Yorkton Flea Market is held annually in May of each year. Based out of the Curling Rink in the Gallagher Centre, individuals can register to be a vendor to sell various items to attendees.

The Block Party package is the first step to hosting a block party in your area. All you need to do is have your neighbours sign the petition, fill out the application form and submit.

The event organizer must complete the permit request to temporarily close the street a minimum of two weeks prior to the requested date of the block party.

The City of Yorkton organizes Seasonal Community Tour Maps aimed at delivering delightful entertainment while fostering a strong, magical sense of community. These tours offer an ideal opportunity to connect with neighbours and celebrate together! 

Creepy Cruise – October

Get ready for a spine-tingling adventure! The Creepy Cruise is Yorkton's Halloween house tour, where residents can showcase their spookiest decorations. Drive through town and experience a hauntingly good time as you explore homes decked out in eerie lights, cobwebs, and all things Halloween.

Twinkle Tour – December

Feel the magic of the holidays with the Twinkle Tour! This festive event invites you to explore beautifully decorated homes glowing with lights and holiday cheer. It's a perfect way to get into the spirit of the season.

Your event may be eligible for full or partial funding. We offer community grants to assist community groups with the funding of culture, recreation and sport projects or events.

All parades held in Yorkton require a permit to close roadways and receive barricades. Please fill out the Parade Permit application and submit at least 15 business days before the scheduled parade date.

In order to have alcohol on City of Yorkton properties and in City facilities, an application for a Special Occasion Permit must be completed and submitted with your Facility Rental Application.

Please allow two weeks from your scheduled date for the permit to be processed.
