We offer a variety of interactive programs and services to educate you on fire prevention and safety.

Book a tour of Yorkton's Fire Station for your family, school group or community group, meet your local firefighters and learn about fire prevention and safety.

Fire station tours are an opportunity to see and learn about modern firefighting equipment, including our fire trucks, and ask those questions you have always wanted to.

The Yorkton Fire Department is committed to providing our community with necessary information about fire safety. There are many hazards that you and your family should be aware of and we are here to provide you with the knowledge needed to be safe.

The Yorkton Fire Department offers several community education presentations depending on your need:

Fire extinguisher training
Fire prevention
How to safely handle needles

We have six certified, Saskatchewan Government Insurance trained Car Seat Technicians. We encourage and support this service to increase child safety in motor vehicles.

Appointments for car seat inspections and installations are recommended.
