Garbage, Recycling & Organics

The City of Yorkton arranges garbage, recycling and an organic yard waste drop off for Yorkton residents.

Our Environmental Services department collects and disposes of solid waste and recycling as per the waste regulations set by the Ministry of Environment.

Collection of garbage and recycling is through contracted services and charged to bi-monthly water bills. In co-ordination with provincial and local organizations, Yorkton is able to offer many recycling programs and initiatives.
