The City of Yorkton operates a commercial compost facility inside the Sanitary Landfill.This facility processes all the in-city organics from the curbside program as well as all compostable industrial products the landfill receives. In addition to curbside organics collection services, Yorkton residents can also drop off yard and garden waste for free disposal at the landfill.
