Recycling

Recycling is one way that we contribute to environmental sustainability and reduce the amount of waste that goes to the landfill, which in turn decreases long-term costs by extending the life of the landfill site. Recyclable materials are not accepted in garbage collection.

Curbside recycling costs residents $5 per month (therefore a $10 recycling fee on the bi-monthly utility bill).

This fee covers payment for:

  • Blue cart, curbside collection, and processing of recycling.
  • Availability to Household Hazardous Waste drop off services.

Please refer to the full list of recyclable materials.

Notice: Household glass, styrofoam products and flexible film plastics (plastic bags, zipper locks, shrink wrap etc.) MUST be taken directly to Sarcan for recycling.
