The City of Yorkton has many permits available that set standards for the health and safety of our citizens.

• Annual (12 months) for $50

Roads and Sidewalks Permits

• Temporary Sidewalk Use Permit  (Please allow up to 2 - 3 business days to process)
• Temporary Street and Lane Use Permit (Please allow up to 2 - 3 business days to process)
• Excavation Permit

Transportation Permits

• Oversized Load Transport Permit
• Truck Training Route Permit – contact Building Services at 306-786-1710 or by email. Be sure to have the truck's licence plate numbers. There is a fee of $50 per permit.

Vehicle for Hire (Taxi) Permits

Vehicle for Hire permits are required to operate a taxi, limousine, shuttle or rideshare company in addition to the required Business Licence.  For a complete list of all documents required to apply for the Vehicle for Hire permits, please review the Vehicles for Hire Bylaw.  Please complete the permit application online or print a copy of the application to complete and submit in person to the Business Licensing Department at City Hall.
