The Environmental Services Department delivers high-quality water and wastewater services for Yorkton. Our operations are fully funded through utility rates—not taxes—allowing us to maintain more than 300 km of water and sewer mains, treatment plants, and reservoirs.
We are committed to transparency in all utility rate adjustments. Each review considers essential capital projects, operating costs, and debt repayment to keep services reliable and rates fair. This approach meets today’s needs while planning for future growth.
