Pay Your Water Bill

We provide water services to residents within the City. When you move to a new address in Yorkton as a homeowner or as a renter you will need to sign up for these services.

Utility bills are due within 30 days of issue. You can pay your utility account in a number of ways:

Pay in person

City Hall is located at 37 Third Avenue North in Yorkton

Business hours are: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding holidays)

Acceptable payments include:

  • Cash
  • Cheque – payable to the City of Yorkton
  • Money orders
  • Interac (debit) payments

Please note: We do not accept credit card payments in person.

Pay using our after-hours drop box

You can pay by cheque using the 24-hour payment drop box located inside the front doors of City Hall.

Please include your payment stub with your cheque in a sealed envelope.

Pay online or by telephone banking payments

Online banking is available through most financial institutions.

When setting up electronic payments you will be required to add a new bill to your list of payees.

  • Add Yorkton (City of) Water as a payee
  • Register using your 7 digit account number which you will find in the top left corner of your invoice

You can then pay your utilities bill online anytime, anywhere. Contact your financial institution if you need help setting up your account for online or telephone payments.

Pay at your financial institution

Make payments to the City of Yorkton at your bank.

They will need to see your Utility invoice so they can credit your payment to the correct account.

Pre-authorized payments

To set up for pre-authorized payments you must complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Form and attach either a void cheque or the banking transaction sheet from your bank.

Please drop off or mail all forms to City Hall Utility Billing department or complete the online sign up form.

Sign up for Pre-authorized Payments

Pre-authorized withdrawals will be on the 24th day of the month in which your utility invoice is due. The amount withdrawn will be a variable amount based on the current billing. This will ensure that your account is always in a current position with no chance of late payment fees.
