History Tours

Yorkton has a strong history dating back to the 1900's. Many historical places and events have been documented for us. We have created a variety of tours for residents and visitors to experience.

Heritage Display Cabinet

Discover our heritage display cabinet, located in the main floor lobby within the Gallagher Centre, showcasing a rotating collection of historical events and stories from Yorkton.

Currently featured in the display cabinet is "Saskatchewan Winter Games: Fifty Years of Fun, Sport, and Snow". Fifty years ago, the Youth of Saskatchewan were brought together under the banner of friendly, wintery competition.
