Notice of Poll


Voting on the Health Levy will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003. The object of the vote is to establish if the City will pass a bylaw to continue to fund a new multi-purpose health care facility and equipment through a residential levy on property taxes of $105 per year for the next four years as was done in 2002. Voting stations will be set up at both the Agriplex and the Gloria Hayden Community Centre between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Notice of Advance Poll


An Advance Poll is being held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, for the convenience of electors. The object of the vote is to establish if the City will pass a bylaw to continue to fund a new multi-purpose health care facility and equipment through a residential levy on property taxes of $105 per year for the next four years as was done in 2002. The Advance Poll will be set up at City Hall between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Aquatic Center News


School is out for the February Break, which can only mean one thing: EXTRA PUBLIC SWIMMING TIMES!! In addition to our regular times, we also have public swimming during the following times: 
Monday, Feb. 17, 2-4pm 
Tuesday, Feb. 18, 4-6pm 
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2-4pm 
Thursday, Feb. 20, 2-4pm 
Friday, Feb. 21, 1-3pm 
Everyone come out, and have a great time!

Theme Nights are continuing at the Parkland Aquatic Center. The theme for Monday, Feb. 17 will be Beach Party!! If you are tired of cold weather, the pool is the place to be!! We will be heating things up with great games, awesome music, and tons of other hot summer activities!

Notice to Residents
Water Infrastructure Maintenance


The City will be conducting gate valve exercises for approximately three weeks, commencing February 6th.

The exercises are scheduled for the areas South of Broadway starting at the east end and working towards the west end of the City. Residents in the area can expect to experience some localized discoloration.

This is a necessary procedure and the City apologizes for any inconveniences that this will cause. Concerns will be answered by contacting the Public Works Dept. at 786-1760 or Engineering Dept. at 786 - 1730.
