Yard waste disposal

Yard waste such as grass clippings, leaves, and garden waste are free at the landfill. If the yard waste is in bags, they must be un-bagged at the compost site and the bags taken with you and disposed of.

Grain bag recycling

The Sanitary Landfill is accepting agricultural grain bags free of charge for recycling. We have partnered with Clean Farms to provide this service for agriculture producers in the surrounding area. Read our grain bag recycling guide for more information on how to prepare your grain bags for drop-off.
