Tender specifications are available at Leisure Services, 2nd floor, City Hall, 37 3rd Avenue North, Yorkton, Saskatchewan. 

Contract period:  One year with option to renew.

Preference will be given to contractors bidding on Deer Park Food & Beverage Services Tender, and those with experience in providing janitorial services.

Site Inspection Required by all bidders.  Please contact Leisure Services at 786-1750 to arrange an appointment.

Tenders shall remain open for acceptance by the City and irrevocable for thirty (30) calendar days following the date specified for tender closing. 

Tenders received after the date and time specified for closing will be marked late and be returned unopened.

4 - Full Time Summer Programmers

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR:
4 - Full Time Summer Culture, Recreation and Sport Programmer Positions

The programmers will be responsible for development of the Summer Programs within the City of Yorkton. You will be responsible for planning, marketing, implementing and evaluating the Summer Program for children and youth 6 -12 years of age.

Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to those with Recreation/Leisure training and/or related experience;
  • Program delivery knowledge or experience;
  • Must maintain and possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Valid CPR and First Aid preferred;
  • Knowledge of computers would be an asset

Six kilometers of classic cross-country ski trails have been groomed at Deer Park Municipal Golf Course by volunteers from the Yorkton Cross Country Ski Club.
