Traffic Signal Changes
on Broadway Downtown

The City has started the replacement of traffic signals on Broadway Downtown.  The old signals are being replaced with LED lights which are much brighter and also less expensive to operate.

There will be changes to the signal program as well.  Left turn arrows will be removed for eastbound and westbound traffic on Broadway Street at First, Second and Third Avenue.  The arrows at Myrtle and Fourth Avenue for eastbound and westbound traffic will remain with an additional left turn arrow on Fourth Avenue for northbound traffic.  Hopefully this will eliminate any difficulties for vehicles turning left.  After the replacement is complete and the new program is working, the green time allotted for the turning arrow will be added to the eastbound/westbound traffic on Broadway resulting in a longer green light.

We apologize for any inconvenience that may occur while the replacement is taking place.
