The City of Yorkton has released its proposed 2024 budget, which includes an increase in total taxation revenue of $983,745 (or 3.5%).

The proposed budget includes the City’s plan to continue to invest in city assets and infrastructure improvements, while continuing to provide the same levels of services as the prior year. Key items affecting all departments include costs increases related to inflation, the carbon tax, and rising construction costs.

Community Conversation Addresses Concerns of Active 55+ Residents in Yorkton

Yorkton, October 3, 2023 – In response to growing concerns within the community regarding the lack of activities for Active 55+ residents, the Recreation and Community Services department of Yorkton is taking proactive steps to address these issues.
