Smith Street will be closed between 1st Ave and 6th Ave starting Tuesday, August 2, at 7 a.m. for road improvements. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Smith Street Median, Curb and Sidewalk Repairs starting July 4, 2022

Smith Street will have limited parking between 1st Avenue N and 6th Avenue N starting July 4, at 7 a.m. for median, curb and sidewalk repairs. This project is expected to take approximately one month, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
“No parking” signs will be placed along the areas affected. Please use caution when approaching a work zone.

Deer Park Water and Sewer Construction starting July, 2022

Construction of water and sewer services for the Deer Park Clubhouse will begin July 4, 2022, causing road disruptions along Highway 52. The awarded contractor, Castle Oilfield Construction, will begin mobilizing to the area this week to prepare for construction.
The construction zone speed limit will be reduced to 30 km/hr and the southbound lane heading east into Yorkton will be reduced to one lane during this time. A portion of Sully Ave will be closed with local traffic access only.

Elizabeth Street Connector path at Logan Green closed for paving starting July

Elizabeth Street Connector Path at Logan Green will be closed in July for pathway paving. This project is expected to be complete by the first week of August, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Residents using the Logan Green Pathways are asked to respect the work zone and use alternate paths for the duration of the project.

Ball Road Resurfacing

Construction has begun for the Ball Road Resurfacing Project.
Work Area: Portion of Ball Road
Type of Work and Impacts: Installation of water and sanitary services, sanitary sewer replacement and complete roadway improvements.
Road is closed to the public, with local access only.
Timeline: June 13 - July 11, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
