The City of Yorkton, in partnership with the Yorkton Branch of SaskAbilities, is proud and excited to announce the opening of a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility in Yorkton.

Starting today, September 6, you can now recycle your non-beverage glass containers at our Yorkton SARCAN Depot, which is operated by SaskAbilities. This includes containers like:
- Food jars (pickles, condiments, jams/jellies, sauces, peanut butter, salsa, vegetables)
- Food bottles (vinegar, oils)
- Baby juice bottles
- Canning jars (used for home canning)
- Glass storage containers
Containers should be as clean as possible before being dropped off at SARCAN. Lids must be removed and can be recycled...
