City Receives Heritage Award for Land Title Building Work - 2023

The City of Yorkton was recently presented with a Heritage Saskatchewan award by The Honorable Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty, for the exterior restoration work completed on the Land Titles Building. At the awards ceremony on November 8, 2023, at Government House in Regina, Mayor Mitch Hippsley, along with Lisa Washington, Manager of Community, Culture, and Heritage, and Kurt Stechyshyn, Facilities Manager, were presented with the 2023 award for Physical Heritage Conservation.

Snow Removal – 1st Priority Streets, Friday, Nov 10, 2023

Roadway crews will be clearing the 1st & 2nd Priority Streets beginning Friday, November 10, 2023 at 8:00 a.m, starting with highways, then arterial thoroughfares.

  • If possible, please remove any vehicles from the designated streets during this time.
  • This has been triggered because there is 2” (5 cm) of accumulated snow on the street.

As the snow is being cleared, sanding and salting operations will follow.
