Public Notice - DAB Hearing No. 1/2021 15 McBurney Drive

15 McBurney Drive is a property subject to a Development Appeals Board hearing. The appellant has applied for a Development Permit to construct a 6 ft. high fence on the side of the house facing McBurney Drive. The proposed 6 ft. high fence on the side of the house facing McBurney Drive would contravene the City of Yorkton Zoning Bylaw No. 14/2003, Section 4.32.1 for the following reason:

1. The fence height exceeds the maximum height in the front yard.

For that reason, a Development Permit has been denied. The applicant has appealed the refusal, and is requesting relaxation of the Zoning Bylaw requirements to the parameters described above.

The appeal will be heard by the Development Appeals Board for the City of Yorkton at 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Council Chambers, Main Floor, City Hall. Should you have any comments, either in favour of or opposed to the appeal, you may either voice them at the Development Appeals Board Hearing or you may submit them in writing.

Any responses received are considered public information and are made available for review upon request. Written submissions should reference 'DAB No.1/2021" and be delivered by 12:00 noon, Friday, October 22, 2021 to the Secretary of the Development Appeal's Board c/o City Clerk's Office, via email or hand delivered to City Hall at 37 Third Avenue North, 2nd Floor.
