City crews were out early this morning clearing Priority 1 routes doing their best to keep arterial roads clear. The 35+ km/h winds aren’t helping, though, so it may take a couple of passes to get things cleared up.
Crews are also out sanding/salting our main priority streets and will continue to work on spot clearing areas with high drifts, and clearing sidewalks.
Yorkton is still seeing some blowing snow, causing drifts on roadways. Remember to drive to conditions, allow extra time for travel and give a little extra space between you and the vehicle in front.
